The SRI-2000 is based on a compact Czerny Turner designed spectrophotometer with a 2048 element linear CCD array. This enables it to measure light intensity and color with 0.2nm resolution. The high resolution CCD array provides accurate measurements of narrow bandwidth light sources such as LEDs, OLEDs, LED Displays and general lighting. Multiple calibrations for different applications can, be stored on the same unit.

Excellent customer service as well, when I needed a new driver cd, they emailed me a copy that has every thing in it.
drivers, instruction, and the pc program.

I have the uv model it works great.
The program is simple, which is good as their is not too much to have to set up.
the program has worked for me on win vista, 7, 8 and 10.
and does not use a lot of resources so it will work on a tablet pc.
you can isolate a section of the spectrum to get the power reading for example 280 - 320 nm for uvb and that will show on the spectrometer, and if you save the reading and import it into the program it will show the full spectrum with that section high lighted with red lines.
all in all I think its great.
